According to the Markandeya Purana, yoga should not be practiced in such places
Yoga with meditation should not be done in places where there is too much cold, too much heat and too much wind.
Similarly, one should not practice yoga in places where loud noises are heard, near fire or water, in old goshalas, at crossroads, in places full of dry leaves, on river banks, in places where snakes roam, next to a well, next to a Chaitya tree, in the midst of mounds.
Actual yoga should not be done in places where there is no sattvic feeling. One who practices yoga should not hear or see bad things.
Many doshas arise in a person who foolishly practices yoga without choosing a good position. What are they? Deafness, inertness, muteness, memory loss, blindness, sudden fever are caused.
All the above-mentioned diseases should be treated in this way if a person who practices yoga accidentally contracts them.
The well-heated yavasani (porridge) should be lubricated well and kept in the stomach as food. This provides relief from diseases like rheumatism, gout and indigestion. By eating this yavagu, air diseases and air gland diseases also disappear.
When the mind is restless, close the eyes tightly and hold a big Mahaparva firmly in the mind.
In the same way, a large mountain should be held while vibrating.
If dumbness comes, the word should be retained in the mind.
Similarly, if you do not hear, you should meditate on the ears
Thus protecting the body with the mind is the first duty of a yogi. Because this body is the cause of dharma, artha and kama moksha.
